About Us

Who we are

At Prime Physical Therapy, my mission is to provide exceptional, individualized care that empowers each client to reach their personal goals.

With over 20 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic care, I have seen how traditional, insurance-driven models limit the quality and personalization of treatment. I founded my cash-based practice to break away from those restrictions and to focus entirely on what matters most — you.

By offering one-on-one, hour-long sessions, I can listen, educate, and collaborate with you to create a plan that treats the whole person, not just a single body part. My goal is to deliver efficient, evidence-based care that produces better results through education, movement, and lasting change.

At Prime Physical Therapy, I am committed to treating you with integrity, respect, and the time you deserve — because true healing happens when care is personal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a script for my doctor to be seen in physical therapy?

No, you do not need a script from your doctor to be seen in physical therapy at our clinic. Since we are a cash-pay practice, we do not require a physician's referral. This allows you to access care directly and get started on your treatment plan right away.

Why don't you accept my insurance?

Cash-pay physical therapy offers several advantages over insurance-based care, including:

  1. No restrictions on care: Insurance often limits the number of visits or types of treatments covered, while cash-pay allows for a more tailored, comprehensive approach without such constraints.
  2. Direct access: Patients can receive treatment without needing a referral or waiting for insurance approvals, leading to quicker care.
  3. Longer, more focused sessions: Cash-pay PTs can offer more time per session, as they're not restricted by insurance billing codes or reimbursement limitations, leading to better quality care.
  4. Transparent pricing: With cash-pay, costs are clear upfront, avoiding surprise bills or complex insurance claims.
  5. Patient-centered treatment: Therapists have more freedom to use the best techniques for the individual, rather than following insurance guidelines that may not prioritize optimal recovery.

What is Integrative Dry Needling and how will it help me?

Integrative Dry Needling (FDN) is a therapeutic technique where fine, thin needles are inserted into trigger points (knots in muscles) to relieve pain and improve muscle function. The needles stimulate muscle fibers, promoting blood flow, reducing tightness, and resetting muscle activity.

This treatment can help you by:

  • Relieving muscle pain: Targeting tight, irritated muscles that cause pain and discomfort.
  • Improving range of motion: Relaxing muscles to enhance mobility and flexibility.
  • Accelerating recovery: Promoting natural healing by increasing circulation and reducing muscle tension.
  • Addressing muscle imbalances: Helping correct dysfunctions that contribute to chronic pain or movement restrictions.

It’s a powerful tool for reducing pain and improving function, especially for those with chronic muscle tightness or injuries.
